Hi. I recently found a mint condition Lynx II unit that was hardly ever touched. I wanted to ask about a technical issue. I noticed that Toki played a little slower on the Lynx II compared to my old battle-scarred paintless Lynx 1. It was subtle but i could notice it ever so slightly. I even used a stopwatch to time the "bird enemies" right from the beginning as they fly across the screen and than back again. There was about a one second differential. Was the system speed of the system slowed down ever so slightly to prolong battery life? Surely this particular Lynx wouldn't just be defective, since everything else is totally perfect. There's no glitches or anything. I am using batteries in the old lynx right now. Do games run a tad fast on batteries rather than an ac adapter for some reason? Anyway I perused your site, and you really know your stuff so I thought Id ask either yourself Alex, or if anyone else has some info. Im not an expert on the technical aspects and id appreciate the help! thanks so much all!
