My first (mini-)bluescreen

Although I have no idea what OS it is using, my brandnew Hewlett Packard Photosmart R707 digital camera bluescreened on me as I connected it to my laptop.

Erm, ... you could take a photo of the backside of a camera with at least two mirrors. But what about a malfunctioning camera?

Had to take the battery out (and put it back in) to make it recover.

Did you ever find what caused this problem and a solution?  I experienced the same thing when trying to connect my R707 to my computer.  I tried changing my camera setting to 'Disk Drive' but then my camera just freezes.
