My five euros on it: Fake!

Nope, we're not talking female lactoid devices here. I'm talking about balls. No, not those either. I mean the bouncing balls from the Sony Bravia LCD TV commercial. If you don't know it, watch it first, then read on.

Anyway, Albert Alberts of KPN-Internet Solutions has posted an entry on his blog 't is goud on the discussion we had on this commercial. He mentioned the commercial and I immediately replied: "You mean the one with the CGI bouncing balls?". He goes: "No, that's for real, and I have got proof!". Well, you can find the proof right at the same Bravia site here. I suggest watching the 14 MB movie featurette "The making of the ad". Also check the pictures.

So, what do you say? Fake or real?

how about... some fake, some not. Some of these balls are real and a larger portion was added artificially. Makes sense to me.

Let's ask the cleaning crew, who took care of 1,500,000 bouncing balls in every corner of the street ;D

Fake, fake, fake...

I watched the long version, high res. The balls looked much better then on the making of version you showed me. And they look awefully good! But for these shots, they'd have to have like 60 cameras or so. And they have a shot of a car moving with the balls, which they didn't show in the making of. And they also have balls that go straight up, instead of with an angle.
