Version 1.2 of Killer-Blog released

Killer-Blog has moved on to the next version. It’s been quite a while since the last update, but it is a significant one.

Version 1.2 uses ASP.NET 2.0 and tries to utilize as much from that technology stack as possible. This includes:

  • Sitemaps
  • Master pages and themes
  • Resourcing/localization
  • Webparts (only on my own weblog, and not publicly available yet)
  • Membership, RoleManagement, Personalization and Sitemap provider
  • Anonymous identification

There are some great new additions to this release:

  • Support for MetaWeblog API and Blogger API
  • Uploading of files made easy
  • Support for Atom 1.0 and RSS 2.0 with Internet Explorer 7.0 extensions
  • CAPTCHA control for comments

If there is anything not working properly, just let me know.

Next thing on the list: battling the Comment Spam
