Developer Days 2007: a blast
It took a couple of days to wind down again. The 2007 edition of the Dutch Developer Days were exciting and excellent. It was real nice to meet nearly everybody (or so it feels).
I did get around to do both presentations on Linq and robotics. The Microsoft Robotics session was scheduled after all. So Anko and myself did get to show off our Lego Mindstorms robots. We did a prize draw with the scorpion bot that used its sting to pick a lucky winner. See the scorpion walking right here being controlled by a drive-by-wire Visual Programming Language program with a Bluetooth 2.0 connection. We also showed a three axis crane by Fischer Technik, who was kind enough to write and lend us their demo setup.
